    Hi @louisapple,

A variable product has a unique URL while variations have different URLs and you can check their specific URLs by adding the variations to the cart and hovering over them. There is more information in this article: https://metorik.com/blog/woocommerce-how-to-link-to-product-variation.

You may find helpful this guide on how to correctly set up your product feed with Google Shopping by using extensions, like WooCommerce Google Product Feed, specifically created to help you do that.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards.

thanks for the reply, i used to use WooCommerce Google Product Feed but it does have another issue then i change to datafeedwatch, the feed they generated for variants are all point to same link only eg https://www.xxxx.com.au/?post_type=product&p=56054

    and they said ”
The issue is your webpage construction. When changing the product type, color URL should change. This is how variant URL is correctly set. In your case URL do not change when variants are selected on webpage. https://www.screencast.com/t/UW5wwSYh

So is the same thing already mentioned of price. Which you need to show certain number, as on the feed. Not amount from – to.”

and i think it is non sense, in that case all shops with variation can not sell in google shopping

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing back!

and they said (…) When changing the product type, color URL should change (…) and i think it is non sense

Maybe I’m misunderstanding what they are trying to say there, but that’s definitely not how WooCommerce works. I’ve just double-checked with a brand-new installation – choosing a variation in a product page will not change the URL of the product page. But, each variation has a unique URL (you can confirm that in the cart page, like Mirko mentioned).

There has to be something else preventing datafeedwatch from working correctly. If they can’t provide you with anything more specific to troubleshoot, then I would suggest you start by performing a conflict test: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

i supposed that each variant have its own url link, but the problem is that when you choose the variation the url will not change, i think thats the reason

i know when i add a item in the cart i can see the URL for the variant, but is there any way to show corresonding URL in product page?

    Hi @louisapple,

When you select a variation the URL will not change in WooCommerce as explained above by Paulo. This is the expected behavior.

If DataFeedWatch is not working with your current setup then you either need to switch to a compatible plugin or get help from a developer to make a customization in order to update the URL each time you select a variation in the product page.

If you don’t have a go-to developer, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

    Best.

yes i am try to use the plugin Variation Swatches for WooCommerce the make the URL changed when choose variant, but not sure it will works from datawatch end

    @louisapple

You could test and let us know how it goes.

However, @rainfallnixfig last suggestion above is the way forward.
