Variants in different categories

Hi all,
I’m looking for assistance regarding product variants. What can I do to have one variant of product in 2 different categories? I know I could add simple product to few categories but I don’t know what suppose to be done regarding variants? Is it some way to use additional atribute i.e.?

Let me clarify first, are you trying to show variable products in different categories? If yes, you can do the same as simple products – assign variable products to multiple categories:
