    Hello, there is a way that when selecting a variation, which only has the main image of the variation, the image of the product gallery is not automatically added.

    Thanks for reaching out to us. So you want to initialize the gallery while it has the main variation image. Unfortunately, it is not currently available.

    But it is a great idea. I will discuss this with the development team.
