Variation image as swatch

hi – is it possible to use the variation image that has been loaded into the product, rather than a specific attribute image.

we sell sunglasses, therefore the swatch needs to be the image of the specific sunglasses colour / frame being selected, not a generic colour for the attribute.

as the individual variation already has its image (the one you see when you change the selected), this is the image we also want to use as the swatch (albeit smaller)
