Did you check it for default WordPress themes ?

Are you using any any custom variation plugin? If so disable that and test it.

If not, please disable your plugin one by one for troubleshoot the issue.

I have the same issue with the variation image, The variation image is not changing according to the select box, I am using ‘storefront’ theme and I have also tried with ‘Twenty Seventeen’.
