Variation prices missing on edit screen

Hi Guys,

I’m a developer, and have implemented Woo on many sites for many years. I have a strange situation with a client site that I hope you can help with.

My client has been using Woo for about 5 years, and we’ve kept it up-to-date through various revisions. Woo 3.x has highlighted an issue with variations. Digging deeper, it looks like prices are missing from the variations, even on v2.6.x. Here’s the situation…

Live site (Woo 2.6.4)
After switching off all plugins except woo
Theme switched to a default Woo theme (storefront)
Variations are viewable on the front-end and can be purchased
When editing the product however, the prices are missing from the variation fields

After upgrading (Woo 3.x)
All plugins switched off, again on Storefront theme
Variations are no longer viewable on the front-end – it gives a ‘Sorry, this product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination.’ message
When editing the product, again prices are missing from the variation fields

It looks like the issue isn’t related to v3, but the upgrade to v3 just makes it obvious on the front-end. Do you know of any <3.0 issues with variations where prices are missing from the edit fields? How are the products currently picking up variation prices?

I can give you access to a dev version of the site, or a DB dump if needed?
