    Hi!

I was trying to setup my variations on the product but it’s just loading. When I try refreshing the page my changes is not there.

I checked the console it’s throwing an error of 404, it seems that it says admin-ajax.php not found. Tried any other functionality and it’s working really well except for this.

    Hope you could help.

    Hey there,

A few things come to mind here:

    1. A theme or plugin conflict – Are you able to save variations when only WooCommerce is active while using the Twenty Seventeen theme? If so, something is breaking things. You can find the conflict by enabling plugins one at a time while testing saving variations
    2. Caching – Try temporarily disabling any caching plugins and server side caching
    3. Does your server use Suhosin? If so, you can find the optimal settings here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/problems-with-large-amounts-of-data-not-saving-variations-rates-etc/

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your reply.

I’ve tried steps 1 & 2 it doesn’t fix my issues. For Step 3, my server does not host Suhosin, should I just remove “suhosin.” on the codes in the documentation to make it work?

Your best bet is to reach out to your host about this – they’re best suited to help you with configuration.

    Hey there @dianamichal

I checked the console it’s throwing an error of 404, it seems that it says admin-ajax.php not found.

If that file is not being found it could be getting blocked by something. Have you discussed this with your host? This type of error points towards a server of security-related conflict happening.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
