    Hi all,

We have a few products on our website that are variations. Each variation has its own SKU currently. However, due to some warehousing issues, we’re looking for a solution that allows the order to come to us with the unique SKU for each portion of the full product.

    For example:

    Part A: SKU1
    Part B: SKU2

Purchased together as a variable product: SKU 3

We would like if they purchase the full product (with part A and B) that the order comes to our warehouse as

    Part A: SKU1
    Part B: SKU2

Hope that makes sense. Does anyone happen to have a solution for this?

    Hello @visionisto,

May I ask how are you sending the order details to the warehouse?

You can group products A and B into a grouped product type, when reviewing the order in the WooCommerce > Orders you should see each product with its SKU number.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

HI, thanks for the reply. The warehouse gets the typical order email as well as a notification from Netsuite.

I thought about grouped products, but the customer would need to select each product, right? Or is there a way to automatically have them pre-selected?

    Hi,

Purchased together as a variable product: SKU 3

You can create a product bundle (to have them preselected) that will include both Part A: SKU1 + Part B: SKU2. You can use the following extension:

    https://woocommerce.com/products/product-bundles/

If you are looking to create product builders, then Composite products might help you out:
    https://woocommerce.com/products/composite-products/

These extensions include 30-day money-back guarantee policy, plus the chance to make pre-sales questions

Let us know if there are any questions.
