    Hi
“Facebook Dynamic Ads & Instagram remarkething” has problems with variation products. Each variant is displayed as a single product. For example, three color variation products are displayed in Facebook and Instagram as three different products.
    Thank you.

  • Hi alex,

Facebook (and Google) do require variation products to be put in product feeds as individual products. They even “forbid” you to add the mother product in the feed.

See our blog article about us:

    Does this answer your question?

    Thank you!

    >Our plugin does however offer you the option to exclude individual variations from the product feed by creating “exclude filters”. An easier option is to just enable the ‘Exclude from feeds’ checkbox on the product edit pages. This checkbox will only show when you have enabled the ‘Add GTIN, MPN, UPC, Product condition…..’ option in the settings section of our plugin.

Will this feature work on Facebook now or in the near future?

    Thank you

    Hi Alex,

That feature is already working for any feed you create. Bear in mind however when you ‘exclude’ a product you exclude it for every product feed you create. If you only want to exclude products from one specific product feed you need to set-up a filter.

You need to enable this option of the plugin:
    https://adtribes.io/add-gtin-mpn-upc-ean-product-condition-optimised-title-and-brand-attributes/

It will result in extra product fields being shown when you edit a product. Including the option to exclude products.

    All the best,
    Eva
