• I am developing a custom theme and am integrating woocommerce into my site. I am having a huge headache trying to set up variation products.

When I create a product and leave it as a simple product the product will display fine on the product page with a an Add To Cart button. When I set the item to be a variation item the problems start immediately.

The page will now say out of stock and there wil be no Add To Cart button, this is before I have selected to manage stock or added any variations or even attributes. It immediately sets it as out of stock.

I then tried to select manage stock and entering a number of stock, still says it is out of stock. The products overview page even shows it is “Out Of Stock x60”. Then I tried to add variations and set stock levels for each one, still no luck.

If I try to go back to a simple item the “out of stock” message will disappear from the product page but there will still be no Add To Cart button and the wrapper div has an “out of stock” class on it.

I have checked and there are no javascript errors, I have tried using all the default wordpresss themes and repeating the entire process right from adding a product, still get the same issue.

Please provide me with any assistance you can, slightly pulling my hair out !! ??
