Variations cause shipping calculator to break

    We’ve come across a major issue with this plugin, and I don’t use that term lightly. If we choose a product with a variation, the shipping calculator doesn’t work, even after choosing a state and a zipcode and therefore they can’t proceed with our checkout form. If we remove the product and add one that doesn’t have a variation, the calculator and the cart works normally. I appreciate any help you can offer on this issue.

    Can you provide your store URL and 2 products so we can test with. One with variations and one without ?

    Could you send me an email at mihai @ wpecommerce.org with FTP and wp-admin login details ?
    I believe its either old WP eCommerce theme files or perhaps the variations don’t have the shipping info set.

    @mihai: I’m 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums. Really – do not do that here.

    The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice, however, by giving someone the keys to your house, you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

    Turns out it was user error and the authors didn’t have the shipping info set on the variation.
