    Hey,

I have an issue when I try and select a variation on a few of my products I get the following error when trying to add to basket.

Invalid value posted for Varsity Colours Jacket

Varsity Colours Jacket is the variation name. I’ve checked its all in stock and stuff like that. I just cant figure out what has gone wrong with it at all.

The strange this is that it only happens with 2 products (which are using the same set of variations) – any help please

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @colinwatson,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are receiving the error message: Invalid value posted for Varsity Colours Jacket when adding items to your cart here.

I checked the link and received the same error message. Can you please share how did you created the variations for your variable product? Was it thru the default step or thru the use of a plugin?

Typically, issues like this are caused by a theme or plugin conflict. As a first step, try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Twenty and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue. If so, then re-enable each plugin one at a time, then the theme, until you find the one that’s causing the conflict. You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts in our Self-Service Guide.

    Hope this helps!

Hey, yeah I done it via the default – it was working no problems. I’ll give that a bash and see if I can identify what plug in might be causing it.

Its weird though, as I have similar items that are pretty much built the same way, but they are not having any issues.

    Thanks
