Since the calculated prices on a variation (+ – etc) definitely don’t work, I changed over to a fixed price. But still the first 2 variations added calculate the price correctly, the third doesn’t.

    Opt1 Opt2 Opt3 Result
    10.00 0.00 5.00 10.00
    10.00 5.00 5.00 15.00

I’ve deleted all variations, and readded them one by one to isolate the issue.
What’s the best practice for this or is it not possible?
And is the “price” field in the parent variation set used for anything or should it be left blank?

And now even 2 options aren’t working.

The variation price instructions aren’t explained clearly:
“You can list a default price here for this variation. You can list a regular price (18.99), differential price (+1.99 / -2) or even a percentage-based price (+50% / -25%).”

I assume if you use a default price, it’s just for that option – and the price of all the variations selected would be combined. If you use a calculated price it calculates off the original product price entered.
    Neither way works correctly.

The problem is the default product price is ignored after a 2nd variation set is added to a product. For what it’s worth, here’s the way it works:
Add 1 variation set: Price = default price + the variation price
Add 2nd variation set: Price = variation price(s) ONLY.

The logic makes no sense. Anyone know how to fix it?
