  • You’ll need to set a price for each variation.

If the prices are all the same, there is a “Set regular prices” option in the dropdown on the Variations tab. This will let you set all the prices in one go.

I had set a price on it before but just tried the ‘Set Regular Prices’ from the drop down option and still nothing.

Please check variation #3724. The form data is showing it does not have an attribute set.

Is that a variation number of an attribute I have already created? In my dashboard I have various attribute sets showing so can’t understand why it’s not working.

Could it be a coding issue?

The number is a variation ID number is not an attribute ID number. If you go to the Product Data section, Variations tab, you should see your 5 variations listed. You should see “#3724” just to the left of one of the dropdowns. Open this variation and ensure it has an attribute. Its not showing one in the form data in the front end. The other 4 variations look good.

You might need to “Delete all variations” and remake them with the “Create variations from all attributes”. If it still doesn’t work, make a new product – you can copy and paste your data. Vary rarely the variations and attributes get screwed up, but making a new product should fix that.

This is unlikely to be a coding issue. This forum would be flooded.

Right got it. I removed the variations from the product and added them again using ‘create variations from all attributes’ – nothing.

I have noticed after doing so – I can see the variation IDs but I don’t have the option to ‘save changes’ not sure if this is anything to do with it?

I added a new product, tried to add variations but still no luck.

Its getting better though, I can see every variation has an attribute set. I think the next thing to check would be stock settings. What have you got at Admin page > WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > Enable stock management.

If its checked, uncheck it and look at the product page. Or is it already unchecked?

There should be a “Save changes” button at the bottom of the Variations tab.

I have unchecked enable stock management. I have the button for save changes but doesn’t always give the option to save it.

I think the “Save changes” button is only enabled if there are changes to save.

Its possible one of your plugins is causing a conflict. Try temporarily deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce. If the dropdown now shows the variations, reactivate plugins one-by-one and check to find out which one is causing the conflict.

Tried that also and still showing the same.

OK. I’m back to attributes and variations being mixed up somehow.

I’ve tried the page with Javascript disabled and there are 5 options which show in the dropdown, yet the form data only shows 4. The “Dark Oak” variation has no data, so that’s the one to look at. When Javascript is enabled, its looking for data for that variation and, not finding it, gives up.

So what exactly have you got for the attributes. I would expect it to read:

Dark Oak | Ebony | Natural Oak | Rich Mahogany | Walnut

So 5 terms, 4 pipes “|” and no extra characters.

    Used for variations = checked.

Does the Variations tab show 4 or 5 variations? If 4, add the missing one, or delete all and create all again.

Try making another product completely from scratch with say just 2 attributes, does that work?

Followed your instructions but no change. I then proceeded to delete the attributes again and re-add new variations but still nothing. Also tried adding a product with 2 attributes which again doesn’t work. I have added new attributes and tried on different products too.

Try temporarily switching to the default theme. Does it work now?

That’s not working either. Do you think it could be a theme issue?
