Variations repeated in order confirmation emails

    Hi, recently each product variation attribute started showing up twice in our order confirmation emails. In the cart and checkout, variations only show up once (as normal) but are then listed twice in the transaction emails. The variation attributes appear both alongside the product name and then below it. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

    Did the site receive a recent update?

    This type of problem could be caused by a conflict with the theme or a plugin, and you can perform these steps below:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Place a test order and check the order confirmation email

    If the issue is not present after that it means there was a conflict, and you can enable the theme or plugins (one by one) until you find what is causing the issue You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
