• Hey

I am going through the plugin and have a few questions/comments.

There is a preview to see what it would look like on the frontend. I am having a difficult time seeing what it actually looks like on the frontend (it is not showing up). So I am thinking it would be helpful to have a test show privacy notice on frontend kind of option to click. To go live one would need to uncheck this option.

What about an uninstall/fully delete plugin option? To make sure we as users know that everything the plugin adds will also be removed on deactivating and removing the plugin. Let’s say this option is not needed then there would be a mention that when deleting the plugin everything the plugin added is also removed. Leaving no trace in the database or anywhere.

I mention the uninstall option as I have downloaded and I am in the process of testing version 6. As I have earlier tested version 5.x the wizard wants me to continue from what I stopped last time. It would be nice to start over.

I will likely add on to this post. (I am also adding a issue on Github for some other feedback: https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/complianz-gdpr/issues/326 )

    Hi @paaljoachim,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about the plugin. Our comment on the GitHub issue you had created earlier should clarify how we intend to improve the front/back-end banner preview in future releases.

As for uninstalling the plugin together with all of its data, you can do so under Complianz > Settings > Data by enabling the option to “Clear all data from Complianz on uninstall”, and then deactivate & remove the plugin.

Just let us know if you require any further information/assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
