Various Sidebar Features Don’t Work

    Hope somebody can help with this. I recently set up a hosted iteration of WordPress. The posting feature works and the widgets I installed (Automatic) work in the sidebar. But when I try to use some of the regular sidebar features and the links feature (just below the header) in several themes, they don’t seem to work. Any ideas on what the problem may be?
