Varnish and friends

I have a server that is behind a varnish cache. When the autoptimize cache is cleared, I have to manually restart varnish or everything breaks.
This happens because the hash for the cache file changes, and the cached page in varnish still has the old one, which it is unable to find.
This only happens if I click “save and purge cache”. If I use w3tc’s “purge all caches”, which has instructions on how to purge our varnish, it works well.
Is there a way to better integrate this or to disable the hash generation for the cache files (that does not involve editing plugin files directly)? It is easy to make a mistake if you haven’t worked around these issues.

With that said, thanks for this plugin. Really useful and delivers what it promises.
