    Hello,

This is a varnish related question and we are hoping someone in this forum can help as I am sure we are not the first person to run into this.

With Varnish turned on, on our server after we login and then “view” the site, the admin or user bar is gone and it appears to show basically the cached public version of the page. There are two problems with this:

    1. Editing pages and making changes is a lot more cumbersome
    2. User specific data which is “private” until logged in, no longer shows up at all after a user is logged in.

We have narrowed the issue to Varnish but are unsure as to what to do with the VCLs to avoid this.

    Any input is appreciated!
