• Hi!

After installing your plugin, I have twice the VAT number in my checkout.
As far as I know, I dont use any other VAT plugin.
    How to solve this?

    Thanks, Lizzy

The page at https://www.vandenhill.com/checkout/ shows only one VAT number field. Perhaps the issue has been solved?

For future reference, the EU VAT Assistant only adds one VAT number field. The second field comes from another plugin, or from some custom code (e.g. a snippet in the theme). One way to determine which element could be adding it would be to go by exclusion, disabling other plugins one by one, until the extra field disappears. That can take some time, but it allows to narrow down the list of possible actors.

Yes sorry, forgot to update, but it’s solved now.

Only trying to find out now how to set the tax rate for all non-EU companies on 0%. Put in US manually as a line in the WC tax settings with 0.00 but for some reason that does not work. Any suggestions maybe on that?
    Thanks!

The EU VAT Assistant doesn’t handle the tax rates, that’s a core WooCommerce setting. To apply a 0% rate (i.e. no VAT) to non-EU customers, you can simply skip those countries. Whenever WooCommerce doesn’t find a matching entry in the tax rate, it won’t apply VAT.

For more information, please refer to the official WooCommerce documentation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/
