VAT Issues on product catalog

Hey @gloveclubltd

I understand that some products show VAT while others do not!

Before moving on I would like to understand your tax and site setup.

Could you provide us with:

A screenshot of WooCommerce->Settings->Tax-> Tax Option

WooCommerce->Settings->Tax-> “Standard” tax rates

WooCommerce->Settings->Tax-> “Zero rate” tax rates

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I have double checked just to make sure but yes they are “taxable” and the tax rate is “standard”

Thanks for checking.

I have also reviewed your status report and don’t see any immediate red flags — such as plugins that may be used to alter the pricing etc., so it’s rather strange behaviour.

I do see that there is some caching involved, so as a next step, please purge your caches, to see if that makes a difference.

If you have done that with no success, then please edit one of the products that exhibits the issue, and just resave/update it without making any actual changes. If it does use the same tax class etc as the rest of your products, it should resync the price and display correctly.

Apologies for the delay, I’ve purged cache and I’ve also tried editing the products as you suggested and reverting back to taxable at standard rate but though the simple products show the tax, the grouped product does not on certain products. Please see link below;

You can perform a conflict test, temporarily switch your theme to Storefront, disable all other plugins only keep WooCommerce active, go to that product page and check again.

Thanks for testing that. Can you please confirm whether apart from deactivating the plugins you switched the theme as well? A proper conflict test involves switching your theme to a default theme such as Storefront and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce. Also, any custom code present in the site needs to be deactivated.

We’ll look forward to your response to be able to troubleshoot further.
