VAT-no on invoice

Hi Monique,
The easiest way oy do this is by using a plugin like WooCommerce EU VAT Numbers. This will automatically validate the VAT number in the European database to prevent fraud. For selling digital goods, you could try this one (you need the pro version for the VAT validation afaik).

Of course you can also go without vat number validation and simply add an extra field to the checkout. In that case, check out the documentation on how to display custom fields.

Thanks for your quick reply. My client is selling courses to well-known companies (offline, so it’s a virtual product), so I’m not sure if validation is necessary. I’ll probably go for a custom field in the checkout. Thanks for the advice.
