VAT not applied on postal charges

    Hi there,

    I have been using the specific plugin for a while now and i have been very satisfied with it until the latest updates. The issue that appears is when customers do not have to pay any VAT for the products they will buy but they will have to be pay VAT for the postal service. I have got all the countries which are outside EU and i have them as “Taxable” but unfortunately the VAT is not showing on the postal charges. Any ideas?

    Hi,

    all taxes are calculated by WooCommerce. Please duble check your tax settings especialy Shipping tax class in Tax options.

    With this settings standard tax class will be applied to all shipping methods.

    Yes this is what i thought it suppose to happen but it does not. If you go into the website and add a product in the basket and change the address to a random address for a country outside EU, you will see that the VAT is also taken off from the postal charges as well…..

    Hi @stavrosomo,

    I suppose it may be related to the fact how your shipping zones and taxes for shipping there are currently configured. Please make sure you have ticked the right checkboxes in the Shipping column at WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard rates here:
