    Hello
I had a problem a few weeks ago that there was no display of VAT on the PDFs generated. It was my mistake due to a bad setting. I have changed but now, the PDF invoices for certain old products continue to not display VAT even though I have changed the products in question.
    What should I do ?
Furthermore, after reading your “Read this first”, I noticed that I had reached a memory limit. Is it possible that this is the problem (which would prevent updating the old PDF?). I’m trying to figure out how to increase this memory.
    Thank you

    Hello @dragondefeu76

To regenerate the invoice without loosing the invoice number, you need to enable temporarily the option Always use most current settings under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Documents > Invoice. When you open any invoice with that setting enabled the system will grab the most recent changes. You must disable it once you’re done doing changes.

    Hope that helps!

Thank you for your quick reply. I just tried but it doesn’t change the error. VAT is still not displayed. Do you have any idea why? Especially since it works well for other products.

    Hi @dragondefeu76

You should read this about solving memory issues.

About the VAT, did you update the orders after updating the products taxes?

thank you. Yes, I’m trying to see with my host to increase the memory.

And I had updated the products. I try several things, nothing works, it’s very weird. Something must be missing but I don’t know what (and it works for other products).

Sorry, what do you mean by “update the orders after updating the products taxes” ?

If you made changes to product taxes after creating the order, the order will keep the old values.

Ok, I understand. Maybe that’s it the problem. Can you tell me how I can update the order ?

Thank you. I updated but it still does not work. The billing is still the same ??

It sounds like the tax settings for these particular products may still be incorrect, can you double check that the taxes for these particular products are calculated & visible in the order? We have a guide in our documentation here: Taxes missing

Compare the screenshot from the documentation with your own order and let us know what you find!

It seems that you are right. The VAT is not displayed on the order, so your plugin is not the problem…
How is it possible that the VAT displayed sometimes well and sometimes not ? Well, I m’ going to investigate. Thank you very much for your help
