VAT number in user profile

  • Hi, is it possible to put the vat_number on the user profile page?
    I need to be able to create customers manually and there is no field to put the VAT number on

    The EU VAT Assistant already adds the VAT number in the User Profile page, it’s under the Billing Address section (example: https://prnt.sc/26nyw9f). That number is loaded automatically on the checkout page when the user is logged in.

    That is very strange, because on my sites it does not show
    maybe it has to do withe the site language? My sites are in Dutch

    The user profile fields are not dependent on the language. The EU VAT Assistant adds them using the standard show_user_profile and edit_user_profile filters. If they don’t appear, perhaps something is hiding them, or preventing them from being displayed on the page.

    Without an in-depth investigation, it’s difficult to say for sure what the root cause could be. Any plugin, theme or custom code running on the site could be altering the user profile fields.
