    Hi,

I’ve installed your plugin, and activated my store to be an EU store, and kept all the default values (Tax in home country, no tax in- and outside EU).

But whenever I do a checkout (and check to be a business, and enter different locations), the VAT is always there.

What / when should it not be calculated?

FYI: I’ve entered prices including tax, and have that set in the WC settings.

    cheers
    Sjoerd

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late response.

The test link you provided does not seem to be working. To answer your question, if the VAT ID required field is checked, the tax will not be deducted unless a valid VAT ID is provided. And this is for the countries within the EU (but not the home country).

For the home country, the valid VAT ID field is ignored if the option to charge tax is not checked. But that will still be a required field.

You can also test this further at https://plugin-testing.us.mywoocart.com/.

    Hi,
We have a similar issue on our site, when the wire payment option is selected, the VAT gets applied automatically to all products no matter the settings and or what’s entered in the VAT fields (we had several customers with valid EU VAT numbers receive an order with VAT included). It removes the VAT on the checkout page, but upon submitting the order the VAT gets applied anyway.
The plugin works with Stripe, as we had credit card purchases where the rules were applied.
