Vavigation menu item not active/highlighted

Hi, I am having an issue with the navigation using an extension (Events Manager).
The current menu item is not recognised and it is not highlighted/active. The extension developer say that the solution is to made by the theme developpers. A code snippet should solve the problem?Events navigation menu item not active/highlighted
