• Hi There,

I am working on a job for a client, the code executes fine under a default WordPress Theme but when I used the purchased Vega Theme
    https://themeforest.net/item/photography-portfolio-gallery-vega-theme/9678282

When I click on a page it comes up with these PHP errors:

Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, object given in /home/leahhuls/public_html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 263

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Post could not be converted to string in /home/leahhuls/public_html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 281

The Theme supports WordPress 4.2 I really wouldn’t think 3 minor releases would break the Theme. why am I getting these errors and in the core file? I have tried deleting the file and re-uploading it as well.
