I hadn’t ever tried Wordfence Falcon on multisite, but wondering if Vendi Cache works on WordPress Multisite?

    Hi belvesvalley,

We haven’t tested Vendi Cache on multisite and as of right now we don’t recommend that you run it. The original Falcon code has MU support but when I last tested it a year or two I ago I only had one MU site and for some reason (that I unfortunately don’t remember) we ran into issues. The issue might have been with another plugin completely but in multisite, especially with caching, that’s a more common problem than normal.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Hi Chris, I used the original Falcon feature with a multisite with about 8 totally different sites (installed as folders, not sub-domains), and it worked fairly good. If you want I can try your plugin and let you know if it works, just let me know what I should check (besides that it doesn’t crash it all!).

    Thanks webby1973!

I’m hoping to have an updated release by the first of the year and possibly a beta for multisite installs, too. There’s a lot of comments in the code regarding weird edge cases for MS but those might be from a couple of years ago and no longer relevant since WP has been focusing on MS a lot in the past couple of releases. Are your sites running a fairly recent version of WP, 4.6 or even 4.7?

Once I get the next release or beta out I’ll post something to this thread so if you subscribe to it you’ll get a notification.

The code also lives on GitHub so if you’ve got time to hack away I’ll gladly take a PR!

    Thanks,

    I’m already with WP 4.7
