Hi guys, I’m using a free version of Dokan for now as I want to test before I buy. I’m using dokan for music producers market place. I bought a custom theme that has all the taxonomy details (tracks, albums, artist, singles etc, and it has its own player. I`ve got a couple of questions: Can the theme taxonomy be displayed in Dokan? The theme inserts custom fields in products with the following info: BMP, Artist, Key. I’m interested in seeing if I can do the following: When vendors upload a product, I want the product info to contain: BMP, Key, etc. I don’t want the vendors to create these fields, I want them to be created already for them so they can just fill in, and this needs to be mandatory. Also, having issues with uploading the directory. By default, Dokan will upload to /wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/DDMMYYYY, can this be changed to one directory up /wp-content/uploads/DDMMYYYY as the player won’t play these unless they are in the right directory. Would be happy if you guys could help. Cheers.

  • Hello @georgerosu23 ,

Thanks for your interest in Dokan.

If you have a custom field in your products, Dokan will not show them for vendors out of the box. You have to customize and add these fields to the vendor’s dashboard. You can find the details on how to add a custom field to the vendor’s product upload form here – https://nayemdevs.com/how-to-add-a-new-field-on-product-upload-form-dokan-multivendor/

The downloadable files are uploaded in the same folder as WooCommerce does. You have to customize how WooCommerce handles the folders for product upload and it is most likely that Dokan will use that structure as well.

Let me know if you have further queries.

    Thank you ??
