    So with the site I am designing I would like to show a list of all the vendors and link to their stores. Is there an easy way to do this.

    I’d also like the vendors to be able to add an image to their account so that in my sort of vendor directory I show the image, the name of the store and Link to their store.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey thanks for that. I noticed though that the vendor list template does a get_avatar call on the vendor ID. Where are our vendors supposed to upload an image that we can call with get avatar?

    The avatar would be however you have your sites avatars configured. It could be BuddyPress, it could be Gravatar, but whatever associated with your site configured and way you wish! ??

    okay so do you have any suggestions for someone like me who is not using buddypress but wants for sure to have ever vendor have an image in the vendor list?

    I’m thinking a plugin like user avatar and then figure out how to add the form to the vendor settings page.

    Or maybe using advanced custom fields I can do something similar

    As long as the plugin makes the avatar the WordPress avatar for your users, it should work without any problems.

    Googling “wordpress avatar” will yield you plenty of reading material. ??
