  • Sure, you’d copy the /front/vendor-list.php template to your theme (as outlined in the link below) and then editing the template, call any images you like. It’s a fully templated shortcode and you can do damn near anything you like with it! ??

Thank you, I do that and in the vendor-list.php file there is the code get_avatar($vendor_id, 200) that give an image. It is possible to tell me where i must upload the image in order to be there. The url from my site is https://onlinedoctor.gr/vendors/.
    Thanks!

Hi aspa_kat — The avatar that WC Vendors pulls is the WordPress avatar for the user. If you dont have any avatar system installed or configured, you can add this plugin:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-local-avatars/

…..and then your vendors can upload an avatar from their profile page.

You can use any avatar plugin, but this one I linked is known to work. There’s a ton of avatar plugins out there, so experiment and play around and see what works best for your site.

    Cheers

    Hi everyone,

9 months later that plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-local-avatars/) seems to be working still on my current WP installation. But is it possible to upload an avatar from the frontend? or Do you have another option 9 months later?

    Thanks

Of course. It’s called WC Vendors Pro. ?? In addition to vendor avatars, and shop cover images, there’s also a fully featured front end product editor, order management, coupons, feedback/ratings, all WooCommerce default product type post support, country table rate and flat rate shipping modules, and a ton more. https://www.wcvendors.com

Wow, such a quick reply. I was actually thinking about the PRO version but didn’t know it has that option, good to know. Thanks for your quick response.
