Venmo/Paypal button is not showing up

First, send along your system information. You can do this by navigating to Donations > Tools > System Info (tab) and click the button to “Get System Report” and copy/paste that in your reply here.

Next, let’s take a look at your error logs. You can do this by navigating to Dashboard > Donations > Tools > Logs. Here is a screencast you might find helpful:?https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/c3eD0AVFgVG.

From there, you’ll see a list of things that have been happening on your site. Look for errors that are PayPal related. When you see one, click the eyeball icon next to it to open up a detailed view. Copy/paste that full error message, and send it along to me.

Thanks for sending along that information, it is helpful. This PayPal error is a vague one, and our team hasn’t been able to replicate a reason behind it, but I do have a potential workaround option:

One workaround that has worked for a handful of users has been to use a different donation form template (like Classic or Multi-Step), but for others, no templates work.?The reason that it works in the Classic or Multistep templates is that those templates load in an iframe and the iframe does not load all the javascript files from the theme and other plugins that are normally loaded on a page. The Legacy template loads the form right in the page where all other scripts load, and sometimes this can result in a js conflict. I would recommend testing the Classic or Multi-Step templates to see if that helps resolve the issue.
