I see that when PayPal gateway is connected live (not sandbox) and having the Venmo option available, when on Desktop mode as a user making a payment and selecting Venmo a QR code to Pay with Venmo is presented to the user. Is this QR code something I can leverage even offline to let people pay me with Venmo to my PayPal (business) account (and how can I capture it, if so)? Thanks.

    Hi @ltrost0910gmail

The Venmo payment option in PayPal Payments is intended for online purchases. You can find more details about how Venmo is PayPal Payments works in the documentation here.

To sum it up, the Venmo button allows buyers to perform a payment in your WooCommerce store. The only way to use this e.g. in a local shop is to have users visit the website to initiate the payment process. So it is not really practical for offline use to present local shop buyers a QR code to pay.

Using regular Venmo payment options outside of the PayPal Payments plugin may be better for actual offline (in-store) applications that do not require your buyer to perform a payment in your WooCommerce store.
For more details on how to make the most our of Venmo, I suggest contacting the Venmo support from here.

    I hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
