I know this is obviously an issue with it not being fully compatible with my theme……. but what I am asking is how can I adjust the code to make this work?

    Hi lmgargus,

If you copy the taxonomy-event-category.php and taxonomy-event-venue.php from event-organiser/templates and into your theme you can edit them there.

The best way of doing this is probably to copy archive.php or category.php or taxonomy.php from your theme and name ot taxonomy-event-category.php/taxonomy-event-venue.php.

Then add in the event details you want (e.g. start date etc) using the default templates mentioned above as reference.

In 3.0.0, there’ll shall be a ‘compatibility’ mode, but until then you can only address theme-compatibility issues by editing the template files.

I am having the same issue.

    Two questions:

    1. When is 3.0.0 coming out?

    2. Is there a simple way to deactivate the links to the venue/category pages?

    Thank you!
