Venue coordinates

    Hi,

    I’d like to be able to add coordinates to a venue, so that the exact location can be entered and pointed to on Google Maps.
    Currently you can only enter an address, but if the address is unknown or not specific enough, Google Maps might not be able to pinpoint the right location.
    If an extra field was added in which you can enter the coordinates, this could be used to instruct Google Maps more accurately. Of course, if no coordinates are entered, the address should still be used.
    I look forward to seeing this enhancement in near future version.

    Thanks for using The Events Calendar!

    This feature is already available on Events Calendar Pro. If you navigate to Events → Venues and click Edit on one of the venues, there is an option to use latitude and longitude coordinates. You can check the “Using Coordinates” section of this article for further information.

    Hi @patriciahillebrandt,

    Thanks. Great to hear the functionality already exists. The not so good part is that I have no budget to go PRO. The website belongs to a voluntary organisation with very limited financial resources.
    Any chance this functionality gets opened up for the free version?
