Hey Matthew, thank you so much for the reply
My site is all about wine estates and the farms do not all have an exact street address like a typical house / building / function venue with a street address.
e.g. Steenberg Wine Estate is a well known estate. If you search Steenberg Wine estate or Steenberg Road, South Africa the position will not indicate accurately: https://mediamatix.co.za/events/?id=3&vid=3
(The actual position is to the left of the marker, close to the M42 marker)
Hillcrest is one more example. They don’t have a street number and the actual position is once again more left, at the dam on the map https://mediamatix.co.za/events/?id=5&vid=5
If one can just get your marker close and then drag it to the exact position when submitting the event it will be great.
For you and me web comes natural, but the average marketer who needs to submit these events might just click away or ask me to submit the event… I need to free myself from these web admin tasks
Showing a map with position is great, but more importantly is to have the listing on my site, even if there is no map and only a short text description (bypassing the map)
You can have a look on my site “Submit winery” and see how the map is handled for winery listings (I need to approve listings so you can submit a test winery)
Hope this helps
Charles
