Ver. 3.6.8 will not block IPs

  • From “Live Traffic” individual block or Block this network do not work. Upon going to the next screen where you block the network via the red underlined link, it shows in the Advanced Blocking page, but on the right it seen that nothing is being blocked: 0 blocked hits, Last blocked: Never ago. Yet I continue to see IPs from this network. The same is true for blocking individual IPs.

    Also, on Blocked IPs page, “IPs that are blocked from accessing the site”, “IPs that are Locked Out from Login”, and “IPs who were recently throttled for accessing the site too frequently”, there are no entries.

  • Same issue here (sort of)…

    I manually blocked an IP (permanently). Still I keep getting warnings from Wordfence in my email that the same IP has attempted to log in and is automatcally blocked due to my settings. How should I interpretate this?
    – Is the IP – although manually blocked (permanently) – also intercepted by the automatic blocking rules?
    – Or does the manual blocking not work?

    Is the Block IP thing going to work every again? I used to be able to block IP’s now they show blocked but still have access to site. Not Very happy seeing I paid for this product!! Either get this working or I expect a full refund!
