    I am attempting to change the Email Address for admin purposes on the Settings > General Settings page. I see the prompt/warning that reads, “There is a pending change of the admin email to …” The email is not coming through. The email is part of GSuite. I did send a test message to the new desired admin email address and it does go through. I’m just not getting the automated confirmation from WordPress. Any ideas what I should be checking?

    I am sure you will have looked here but just incase make sure to look in the spam folder of your email account. Sometimes password recovery emails are incorrectly marked as SPAM.

    Nothing was in SPAM, but we did find that somehow the MX records had reset after we had adjusted our domain. We didn’t suspect this as first, as emails were able to be sent and received in GSuite, but the email for the admin account change was not being received. As soon as we put the GSuite MX records back in, the admin email went through just fine.
