• hello

    i want to verify my website on alexa
    they said that: Copy the Certify Code below and add it to EVERY page of your website. For best performance, we recommend that you add the code in the <head> section of the HTML.

    i used the alexa certify pluging to do it quickly but when i insert my informations onthe pluging: i got: We could not find the Certify Code on your home page.

    i placed the code manually on the them editor in header.php below <head> like they said but always it doesnt work.

    what should i do exactly to verify my website on alexa

    Try clearing the cache from any caching plugins you’re using.

    Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks. Let me see if I can see the Alexa code.

    I definitely see the Alexa code on your site. Maybe the alexa side needs to clear its cache.

    <!-- Start Alexa Certify Javascript -->
    <script type="text/javascript">
    _atrk_opts = { atrk_acct:"xxx", domain:"pcwelcome.com",dynamic: true};
    (function() { var as = document.createElement('script'); as.type = 'text/javascript'; as.async = true; as.src = "https://d31qbv1cthcecs.cloudfront.net/atrk.js"; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(as, s); })();
    </script>
    <noscript><img src="https://d5nxst8fruw4z.cloudfront.net/atrk.gif?account=xxxx" style="display:none" height="1" width="1" alt="" /></noscript>
    <!-- End Alexa Certify Javascript -->

    I would say it’s not a WP problem as the code is there.

    i did the verification i think every day since 12/07/2017 until today
    when i enter to Certify Your Site Metrics and i click scann my site i find:
    We could not find the Certify Code on your home page.
    Scan Results on 07/12/2017

    i did the last scann today so i should find:
    Scan Results on 07/17/2017

    i find always Scan Results on 07/12/2017

    like if nothing happen when i make a new scann
    they remember just the first scann i made on 07/12/2017

    i think that the probleme is here because they don’t update when i make a new scann

    but how to resolve this. i don’t know…
