Fluid Checkout does not check if the customer’s email is already registered.
I’m planning to add this feature by the end of the year, together with other account related features that will be added to the PRO version, namely:
– Check if email is already registered and offer option to log in
– Account matching, allowing “guest” customers to complete the purchase even when the email is already registered;
– Delayed account creation, moving the option to create an account to the order received page
I let you know once these features have been added.
