verifying Google Plus

    I have created a Google+ page and want to link it to my website. I have the following instructions from Google:
    Ask your site’s webmaster to add the following line of code to your site’s homepage: (and it gives me a code)

    I am using Arclite theme and am not sure where to add this code. I think that I have to add it in Arclite: Header (header.php) but just not sure where to put it on this page. I would be really grateful if somebody could help me with this.
