Version: 0.9.5.2 Makes Site Extremely Slow

  • I don’t even know where to begin or why this is happening, but my multisite installation has slowed right down to a crawl with the latest release. Had to delete all of the database entries that had w2tc in the key name or option name and wipe all of the files and roll back to v0.9.5.1. Thankfully I had a backup of my w3tc-config folder because the live one got hosed during the upgrade too.

  • If you have database and/or object caching enabled then try disabling them temporarily to see if performance improves.

    Yes. This helps slightly. But the site is still slower than it was before upgrading.
