Rob, you can download 0.7.2 here:
    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/widget-context.0.7.2.zip

Here is a list of all previous versions:
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/widget-context/developers/

Can you please give me three examples of URL patterns that you were using, and the URL of your site.

    Thanks!

Firstly, thanks for the swift response Kaspars.

If I was to revert back to version 0.7.2 from the above link, I trust I can simply replace the plugin folder documents? Will the database content remain the same?

The URL of the site is:

    https://www.kingstonbarnes.com/

However, my client was keen to get the site looking fairly presentable straight away so has re-input all of the target by URL requirements. The only thing we couldn’t reinstate for now was a single form (cforms), but I’ll post in the other thread about that.

Some examples of URL patterns were:
    1) Front (home) page only check box ticked
    2) Show only on target by URL: listed as follows:
    a. /about
    b. /clients
    c. /testimonials
    3) Hide from target by URL: listed as follows:
    a. /contact
    b. /clients

Something along those lines. The URL path system hasn’t changed that I can see (although glad you lost the incorrect examples in the text below). Having redone the URL’s the above examples are working fine.

So as long as I can sort out the cforms II plugin issue I think I’m ok. Will reply over in that post.

Although from a version release view, it will need looking at, just unsure why the information wasn’t retained?

    Kind regards,

    Rob

    Sorry, not clear, but my lists obviously didn’t include a. , b. , c.! ;o)

Thanks for the detailed response, @cyanspark. What did you use for /about and /contact before the upgrade?

Data shouldn’t be lost after the upgrade. I tried it on my personal blog a few other sites and it was fine. What browser are you using?

    Kaspars

Also here all settings are lost..

Well, settings are back (with URL’s to target) but they ‘has less/more than’ function doesn’t seem te work anymore.

@martijnchel, could you please give a sample URL and the widget context settings for a widget that stopped working?

    Hey Kaspars,

Just to say that I updated to 0.8.1 this morning with regards to the other post about cforms II widgets.

However, I decided to deactivate it, then update, then activate. I lost all the settings again and had to redo them. Not sure if this was as a result of the update or the deactivate and activate???

    Cheers,

    Rob

Hi – I have the same issue. Had to roll-back to 0.7.2

    Hello,
I tried 0.8.1 to see if the problem is fixed, but it seems that the plugin just ignores what I put in for context…. Reverting again to 0..7.2. Please fix!

    Thanks!

thanks for the link to 0.7.2 will wait for the next update
