    Hi,

I have been using Debug Bar and I love this plugin, however, when I activated the new version today, the admin area was gone completely returning to Server Error 500.

I have tried deleting all the files via FTP and reinstalling a fresh file from here, and when I activated it – it showed the same result, server error 500.

How can I fix this? Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely yours,
    Prime Aque

I’m guessing behind the 500 error this is actually what is happening on your server as well.

I don’t have a real fix, but short-term, renaming log-viewer plugin to something else like log-viewer-disabled seems to resolve the issue (though you obviously can’t view the logs via Debug Bar with it disabled).

    Hi all,

I apologise for this, I used the wrong syntax in the back-compat constructor and none of the extensions I tested it with used a __construct() method – some plugins obviously do, and would’ve caused this issue if that was the case.

0.8.4 has been released to resolve this.
