  • Same thing happened to me. I (or my users) can access specific pages on my website by entering their name, but not the start page or posts page. Very inconvenient. Took me a while to trace the problem but deleting your plugin did the trick. Let me know when it’s fixed.

Same. All my sites just load a blank page with the Pre-loader turned on.

Very frustrating that I now have to disable the plugin on 20+ sites.

The same happens here, using the Salient theme – having the plugin activated on the latest version of WordPress causes issues with the entire website. Please update this thread once this has been resolved.

    Thanks!

Same thing happened to me. I just revert back the plugin to previous version (1.15.2). I use WP Rollback plugin. The new version has uncaught syntax error.

    Same problem here.

Here is a fix in the meantime:

    1. Go to Plugin File Editor
    2. Choose WP Smart Preloader on the top right
    3. Go to assets/js/wsp-main-script.js
    4. Line 3: change var bdy to var $body
    5. Click on Update File

I tried that fix, but it didn’t work for me. Still shows a blank page when using the Avada Live Editor.

    Hi,

I’m also using Avada and the page where I’m using WP Smart Preloader isn’t loading. I’m desabling the plugin ??

This doesn’t fix the issue for me using Divi theme. It does allow the site to load properly but the preloader doesn’t show at all.

Strange. I also used this plugin on a Divi site and the preloader reappeared on the home page with this tweak. However, I noticed that the other pages on the site flickered briefly and faded from white on opening (I don’t know if this was before the change I made). So I’ve disabled the plugin for now.

If there’s no update, I’ll delete it too.
