Version 1.2.5

  • my page work fine until I was forced to update to the latest WordPress version 5.7.4.

    I started to have a duplicate post on my WordPress, then I updated 10Web Social Post Feed

    to the latest version (Version 1.2.5) inside WordPress dashboard.

    Once I reset the cache, No posts from Facebook are shown on my WordPress page, it says “There are no objects in this Facebook feed.”.

    I tried to reauthenticate, Facebook show:
    “Error
    Warning
    App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don’t have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.”

    Same problem for me.

    Getting error on the page it is loading:

    Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 () ..from Facebook API

"message": "Cannot call API for app #######.. on behalf of user  ######...

    Tried to reauthenticate but the same error as engbok and bellegravure.

    Currently, we have an issue with Facebook feed plugin, it is under Facebook’s compliance review.

    This is a standard flow to keep Facebook platform and community safe.

    It might take a week until this issue will be resolved.

    @kimabaghdasaryan Would it not be prudent to pre approve your next version with facebook before affecting your customers?

    So what’s up, it never made it past compliance? The feed hasn’t worked for months, now running 1.2.7 and receiving the same “App Not Setup” error.

    @noddemix No, it means they’ve just broken it again by putting an unapproved version live.

    It should be possible to have a development process where a version is approved before being released for the community to use, but this “Still in development” seems to happen with depressing regularity.

    Pity, because this plug-in does everything I want, except for this behaviour.
