Version 1.6.9 – Paypal buttons still are not working

New version is working for me. I just looked at your site, it seems you have Express Paypal disabled, and using the standard Paypal Woocommerce payment method so I wasn’t able to test really.

@zanza321 I’m using express (PayPal Checkout) not standard. I just turned off smart paypal buttons until they working. I added a screenshot in previous message if you’re wondering

I just attempted to place an order on your site and I was able to reach the PayPal payment page without issue as you can see in this screenshot: https://cld.wthms.co/NdOiiT

It looks like you still have the Smart Buttons disabled so I wasn’t able to test that.

@luminus I’ve just turned on smart buttons could you try again please. I know it works when they are disabled…

Can you try a new transaction and make sure that you’re not trying to pay with the same PayPal account that you’re using to receive payments?

@luminus Oh I’ve just tried by myself and they work! What the bug happened yesterday:) That looked this way https://bit.ly/2RBUcLT I’m worried why is it happened? What if that happens again? I will never know until customers let me know:(

Glad to hear that it’s working as expected.

This issue was due to an incompatibility with an update to PayPal’s checkout.js library which was fixed in the version 1.6.9 release.

I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved now.
