What’s with 3 updates in one day?
Hey, that’s more than you got in the last year, right? ?? Really, this was because there were 3 bugs reported quickly by you all. Two of them were pretty serious bugs that needed to be fixed right away.
Yes, there was testing done on the 1.0.0 update, but with such major changes, things sometimes fall through the cracks.
However, these were preventable bugs, which is what I want to talk about.
I’ve been calling for testers for a while now via my blog and Twitter account, but I’ve only had 2 people step up to the plate and provide usage feedback during the testing phase. With plugins like this, it’s important to test before a major update is published. That’s why I highly encourage anyone using this plugin to follow the blog. That’s the best way to stay informed for when there’s a major update on the way. You can also follow its GitHub repository if you like.
This would make a world of difference to me. As I’m only a one-man crew, I only have one set of eyes on the plugin. I’d love to get more sets looking things over.
I also just want to say thanks to the people who reported issues quickly and tested the fixes for those issues.
