I get to the page that says: “AnsPress Installation. You must complete this install to proceed.”

I specify the base page, then hit “OK! Continue” but nothing much happens, except that wherever I attempt to go in the back-end, I am re-directed back to this Installation page. (The front-end is not affected.)

I’ll have to go back to 0.1.9 for the moment.

Now that I have gone back to 0.1.9, I can also see that the base page that I selected not only had the shortcode [anspress] inserted into it (as it should) but that it also had its title changed to [anspress]. Obviously, that can’t be intended behavior.

Installation is working perfectly in firefox.

Yes I kept the title as [anspress], there is a strong reason behind this.
I am replacing it to change the anspress page titles.

yes yes, I can do this without [anspress] in title BUT I seen many people uses SEO plugin and which sometime modify titles foe better SEO.

So, for compatibility I am using replace in title. that look better to me.

NOTE: this is a Pre Release of version 1.0, for finding bugs.

I understand its pre-release; that’s why I am reporting this bug.

I am using Firefox 31 (on localhost server running Linux Mint 17), and it just doesn’t install.

Is there any error on console ? install firebug and let me know if there is any javascript error.

No, Firebug reports no javascript problems.

    OK I will check this.

Same problem here, installation is not working and I am not even able to open any page, post, or do anything, as it is asking to install anspress first, which is not working here. Not able to deactivate the plugin as well.
    Please fix this.

Added option for bypassing install. update Anspress to latest.
And I do not need access to your WP now.
